Continuous training ensures that we are ready when a cry for help is heard from somewhere in the great outdoors. Wether that cry is from a cave, side of a cliff, in a forest, or from the water WEST is prepared to go at any time, in any weather, and in any terrain. Levels of training that our members go through include:

COQ - Call Out Qualified
FTM - Field Team Member
FTL - Field Team Leader
MSO - Management of Search Operations

First Aid & CPR, WEMT, Fire, Mountain Rescue, NASAR, Technical, Water, First Responder, Helicopter Operations, K-9 Operations,

Wether working alone or inter-cooperation with multiple agencies and authorites, your safety is WEST's primary concern.

Not only do WEST members have up-to-date training, knowledge, and skills, but our apperatus is also extensively equipped for outdoor emergencies.
