On April 27, 2003, we trained on High-line operations. A High-line is a type of rope rescue that would be used to cross a ravine or water-way. It would be used to transport personnel, equipment and even patients.

Setting up a high line to simulate a ravine crossing.

Alan Houck and Charlie Hawkins setting up anchors on lanuch side of crossing.

Taking up slack on retrival side which, by the way, was very steep.

Member Danny Lapp hanging out during crossing.

Member Ruth Markley checking out this rope rescue thing for the first time.
